**Your role**
**This is an exciting opportunity to be part of and influence the future of human services contracting in DCJ.**
**What you'll do**
The role of Senior Executive Officer will provide a range of high-level executive, secretariat, and project support services to the Secretary.
This includes strategic advice, managing communications and implementing strategies to support the achievement of the organisation's objectives.

- Corporate Services
- Housing policy and operations and homelessness
- Disability policy and reform
- Diversity and Multiculturalism
- Ageing, Seniors and Veterans
- Volunteering, carers and youth
- Cluster agencies related to the above portfolios.
**What we're looking for**
- excellent stakeholder management skills
- highly effective communication skills, including an ability to express complex material in plain English
- an ability to manage demanding and competing deadlines
- an ability to influence and negotiate with key stakeholders
- an ability to be proactive and to work autonomously
- experience working within some or all of the portfolio areas listed for the desired role
- experience managing teams.
- Experience within an executive context is ideal.
