Physiotherapist Job Description
We are seeking a part-time Physiotherapist to join our team at the Southern Cross Health and Wellness Centre. This is a state-of-the-art exercise, rehabilitation, and medical facility that provides person-centered care and aims to enhance the quality of life and independence of residents.
The successful candidate will focus on providing assessments and utilizing their clinical skillset to develop care plans and recommendations for residents. They will also be required to provide outreach services in clients' homes and contribute to continuity of care through hospital outpatient programs and services such as RITH.
In this role, you will have multiple opportunities to build rapport with clients and deliver high-quality physiotherapy services. You will work collaboratively with the care team to enhance residents' wellbeing and contribute to quality improvements in allied health and residential services.
* Delivering high-quality physiotherapy services to residents
* Maintaining an effective falls prevention/management program within the home
* Communicating effectively with the care team to enhance residents' wellbeing
* Contributing to quality improvements in allied health and residential services
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must be an AHPRA registered Physiotherapist with at least 3 years of experience. You should possess a strong commitment to person-centered care and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
* AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist (unlimited)
* National Police Clearance (current within 6 months)
* NDIS Worker Screening check
* Immunisation record (Flu & COVID-19)
* A completed pre-employment health questionnaire
