Hi there We are EPV. We are proud to be recognised as an industry leader specialising in the mechanical repair and major inspection of a wide range of energy grid maintenance & support equipment, including truck-mounted MEWPs, Cranes Borers, Vehicle Loading Cranes, Carrier Trucks, ancillary equipment and more. Our services are crucial for essential sectors such as electricity, gas, rail, telecommunications and fire services.

As we continue to expand, we are searching for dedicated and enthusiastic Technicians to join our vibrant team in Epsom (Bendigo) on a full-time basis. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting EPV Rental Assets and customer-owned equipment within our on-site workshop as well as in the field.

In this dynamic role, you will be at the forefront of diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining trucks and equipment, ensuring they operate seamlessly and efficiently. From routine inspections to tackling complex diagnostics & repairs, you will be the genius behind preserving our clients' fleets in impeccable condition. Be prepared to take on a diverse range of equipment, from trucks to cutting-edge electrical machinery, allowing you to constantly test and expand your skills and expertise, bringing excitement to your work every single day.

Core duties:

* Complete routine inspections, repairs and servicing of trucks, cranes & EWP's
* Undertake complex diagnostics and repairs, including major overhauls of complex hydraulic & electrical systems.
* Conduct inspections and refurbish structural componentry on insulated booms, cranes, and truck-mounted scissor lifts.
* Compete major services and repairs on light and heavy vehicles, specialised trailers, ancillary equipment, and machinery.
* Collaborate directly with the customer and our service coordinator to ensure a meticulous and well-coordinated approach to equipment maintenance and repair.
* Engage with the EPV parts team to ensure parts are quoted and purchased
* Report on the progress of each job and quickly relay any delays, part overruns or shortfalls

You'll be great in this role because:

To thrive in this role, you will have trade qualifications in plant or diesel mechanics, have previous experience maintaining trucks, and have a strong knowledge and understanding of how to service trucks & equipment. Your passion for all things mechanical will drive you forward as you tackle challenges head-on and consistently find innovative solutions.

As a self-motivated individual, you will thrive in autonomy, eagerly taking charge and showcasing your exceptional problem-solving skills. Safety will also be your top priority, ensuring all protocols are followed diligently and contributing to a secure work environment.
