The Position:
* Assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations across multiple outlets.
* Supervise and support kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety.
* Contribute to menu planning and execution, including catering and café offerings.
* Oversee stock levels, inventory control, and ensure consistent presentation and portioning.
* Train staff, enforce safety protocols, and step in for the Executive Chef when needed.
The Person:
* Previous experience as a Sous Chef or senior role in a high-volume kitchen, with Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
* Strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP procedures, and a passion for sustainability and local produce.
* Excellent leadership, team building, communication skills, and ability to work under pressure.
* Acts with integrity, honesty, and fairness towards colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
* Adaptable, willing to learn and grow, and able to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
