The position ensures payroll processing, compliance, reporting and employee support activities are completed in line with legislative, regulatory and organisational requirements while maintaining confidentiality and a strong customer service focus.In this role you will:Prepare and process end-to-end payroll of employees.Verify, input and review payroll and employee information.Review Time & Attendance records and reports, employee time sheets and verify extra hours worked.Apply relevant policies, procedures and internal controls to payrolls, workers compensation, and superannuation.Implement changes, as authorised by the People team, in relation to pay rates and other employment terms and conditions.Run and coordinate monthly compliance checks to meet FairWork legislation- casual conversion, anniversary, junior rate changes.About youTo be successful in this role you have:Previous payroll experience in a medium to large organisation (essential)Experience using payroll systems (MicrOPay/SAGE strongly preferred)Experience communicating with, influencing and advising senior business and HR stakeholdersTertiary qualifications in Finance or related discipline (preferred)A current Police Check and Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain)Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis AustraliaWhat's to love?Career development with a range of formal education and on the job training opportunitiesTickets to the Australian Open plus Superbox tickets to events at Rod Laver & Melbourne ArenaMonthly health & wellbeing activities with access to CorePlus PilatesOnsite gym, tennis facilities & free onsite car parkingSalary packaging & a range of discounts from our sponsorship partnersAttractive leave benefits - with up to 26 weeks of paid parental leave for all primary caregivers and Sorry Business and Ceremonial Leave for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employeesWe are proud to be recognised as an employer of choice for women by WORK180To ApplyIf you think you're up to the challenge, we'd love to hear from you!
