**What will you be doing?**
As a Microbiologist you will be a part of the quality team who provide expertise and hands-on testing of products, the environment and materials. You will perform critical tests that assure customer value and maintain the sterile manufacturing environment. As multiple roles are available, you will have the chance to play to your strengths while learning on the job amongst biopharmaceutical experts.
Key tasks of this role include:
- Media preparation
- Out of specification investigations and testing
- Collaboration with internal teams to support quality requirements
- Microbial swabs and testing of sterile areas, water and apparatus
- Reporting and support for document reviews
**What do you need?**
Whether you are a recent science graduate, hold a Working Holiday Visa, or are an experienced Microbiologist looking for fresh opportunity - we encourage you to apply. At a minimum you will need a solid understanding of microbial testing techniques, along with a strong appreciation for the requirements of a controlled, sterile environment.
Other key requirements include:
- A Tertiary qualification in Science, majoring in Microbiology or equivalent
- Experience in (or knowledge of) GMP
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interpret technical information and SOPs
- Previous experience in Quality Control would be highly regarded
- A proactive, team-oriented approach
- High attention to detail to accurately report data and information
