Applications are now open for Graduate Registered Nurses to join our 10th intake of the Opal HealthCare Graduate Nurse Program. Over three years, we have refined our Nurse Graduate program, welcoming over 200 Nurse Graduates on their pathway to future leadership.
Start date is the beginning of October. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with residents, their families, clinical services, and allied health. Our Graduate Nurse Program is designed to develop your clinical and leadership skills.

As a Nurse Graduate with us, you will be part of our scholarship program via the Opal Healthcare Academy – this qualifies you for a $5,000 payment upon program completion, which can be used towards your HECS debt or further studies.
We seek the best and brightest registered nurse graduates who aspire to be future nurse leaders and grow their careers at Opal. Candidates should have:
* Graduated from university within the last 2 years .
* Completed less than 12 months of paid practical experience as a Registered Nurse.
About the Graduate Nurse Program:
This 9-month program offers structured support and training, allowing you to develop specialised clinical skills in areas such as dementia care, palliative care, chronic disease management, and mental health. You will also enhance your leadership skills in a professional setting.
All applicants must be willing to obtain a police clearance via Opal HealthCare's police check system, undergo a pre-employment medical, and complete a personal NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC) through your state government. Additional requirements may include attending a drug screen and completing psychometric testing.
