Job Summary
The Lifestyle Coordinator role is a pivotal position in the wellbeing of our residents. We are seeking an individual who can ensure all residents receive engaging and creative lifestyle programs catering to their individual, social, and cultural needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, manage, and evaluate lifestyle programs for residents in both group and individualized capacities.
* Lead and guide a team of Lifestyle Assistants.
* Coordinate activities to cater for all aspects of resident home environments, including social, religious, and cultural requirements.
* Provide input during resident care assessments to enable individualized program development for optimal resident lifestyle outcomes.
* Maintain accurate records of resident participation and document observations or concerns.
Requirements:
* Certificate III in Leisure and Lifestyle/Health or Diversional Therapy (or similar).
* Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
* Innate empathy for residents and commitment to continually improving quality of care and social environment provided.
* Outstanding approach to client service and innovative programming meeting resident requirements.
* Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve desired outcomes.
* Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC framework beneficial.
* Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
* High level of computing proficiency.
* A confident and collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and balanced diplomatic approach to sensitive situations.
