We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Yarrow Place team as a Social Worker where you will be responsible for: Provide specialist counselling, case management, and group work services for people who have been subject to rape and sexual assault.
Manage complex client issues and advocate across health, legal, and community sectors, including writing reports for the justice system.
Design and deliver staff training, community education, and nationally recognised programs.
Lead and contribute to strategic projects, service planning, research, and evaluation initiatives.
Promote a collaborative, safe, and respectful team culture while actively supporting continuous service improvement.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have: Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
A high level of written and oral communication skills including proven ability to communicate effectively with people from a wide range of backgrounds.
Proven ability to work collaboratively and contribute towards a cohesive team culture.
Demonstrated capacity to provide crisis and long term counselling and group work services.
Proven ability to organise, coordinate, consult, liaise and communicate effectively.
Demonstrated experience working in crisis and trauma situations.
