About The Role
This is a dynamic role that blends relationship building, problem-solving and goal setting, while also fostering strong connections with employers, community organisations and industry partners to create meaningful employment opportunities.
As a Mentor in our WFA team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of individuals seeking sustainable employment.
You will work one-on-one with customers to identify their strengths, remove barriers and guide them through tailored action plans toward becoming job ready.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build strong, trusting relationships with customers to provide guidance, motivation and mentoring throughout their employment journey.
* Identify customer goals, strengths and challenges, and create targeted action plans to achieve sustainable employment outcomes.
* Conduct assessments to determine readiness for employment and identify training or support needs.
* Collaborate with employers, community organisations, and industry partners to create and maintain opportunities for employment.
* Maintain accurate and compliant records in line with contractual and organisational requirements.
* Manage your portfolio effectively to meet targets and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking someone who is available to work Full time Hours, Monday to Friday 8.30am -5.30pm, with a high level of resilience and ability to adapt your approach to suit different situations.
Able to work autonomously while contributing positively to a team environment, with strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Understanding of employment readiness and the steps required to achieve sustainable outcomes.
