About The Role
In this role, you will lead a general ward, managing all human & material resources efficiently and effectively. Your responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating clinical practices, processes, and services of the unit.
You will be supported by a dedicated team of Executive Staff and report to the CEO/Director of Clinical Services for mentorship.
About You
You should have strong clinical leadership skills in an acute hospital setting, with a focus on strategic management of staff and bed flow. The ability to inspire and lead a team of clinical professionals is essential.
This role is suitable for an experienced clinical manager or a senior nurse aspiring to move into management.
Requirements
Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA
Experience in theatre nursing
Management experience is desirable but not essential
Ability to establish effective stakeholder relationships
Postgraduate studies in a relevant specialty are a plus
Availability to work a 7-day rotating roster, including evenings, nights, and weekends
