Job Description
The successful Chef will assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing a variety of authentic Indian dishes. Responsibilities include participating in menu planning, food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
* Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment to meet food safety and hygiene standards.
* Monitor inventory levels, check deliveries, and manage stock rotation and ingredient storage effectively.
* Supervise junior kitchen staff to ensure consistency in preparation and presentation.
Qualifications and Skills: A Certificate IV level qualification or equivalent is required, along with 3 years of recent experience as a chef. Expertise in culinary techniques, menu development, and current food trends is essential. Knowledge of Indian cuisine is advantageous.
