The Role
You will manage a portfolio of clients and support the partners on tax and compliance matters. Your technical skills and ability to build genuine client relationships will be central to your success.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS, and FBT
* Providing strategic tax planning advice tailored to each client's needs
* Liaising directly with clients on compliance matters and day‐to‐day queries
* Reviewing and mentoring junior and intermediate staff
* Managing ATO correspondence, resolving queries, and ensuring timely lodgements
* Supporting the adoption of cloud‐based accounting tools and digital workflows
About You
* Minimum 4–6 years' experience in public practice accounting in Australia
* CA or CPA qualified, or nearing completion
* Strong technical skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficient in Xero, MYOB, or similar cloud‐based accounting software
