About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and hands‑on Restaurant Manager to take full control of the daily operations and drive the future success of our Northbridge venue. This is a pivotal role for someone who wants to grow with a thriving business and make their mark.
Responsibilities
* Organising and controlling the overall operations of the restaurant to provide exceptional dining and catering services.
* Selecting, training, and supervising all front-of-house and kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient team environment.
* Managing staff performance, including managing rosters, labour costs, and operational budgets in line with business targets.
* Working closely with chefs and kitchen staff, contributing ideas based on customer feedback and market trends.
* Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget, and maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions.
* Ensuring dining facilities comply with all licensing, safety, and workplace requirements.
* Conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service, actively handling feedback to ensure a superb guest experience.
* Taking reservations, greeting guests, and assisting in taking orders during peak periods.
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or a strong Assistant Manager ready to step up, in a fast‑paced, table‑service restaurant environment.
* A minimum of 1–2 years of relevant management experience is required.
* Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of restaurant management, from financial controls to staff development.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, train, and manage a diverse team.
* Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet.
* A passion for hospitality and a commitment to creating a delightful experience.
* Knowledge of POS systems and inventory management.
