The role of the Education Services Coordinator is to provide a critical contribution towards the implementation of the Prisoner Employment Pathway Framework in Corrections Victoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the coordination and delivery of education and training services across various locations within the Victorian prison system.
This position requires an individual who possesses a strong understanding of the education environment and has experience in coordinating operational service delivery across multiple business units and program areas. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated knowledge and skills in service performance monitoring and reporting, as well as experience working within a correctional services environment.
Some key responsibilities of this role include:

* Assisting with the development and implementation of local prison processes to maximize opportunities for prisoner participation in VET and identifying process improvements where required.

* Negotiating with and managing education providers to deliver services in accordance with contractual obligations and resolving service delivery issues where necessary.

* Delivering and managing distance education support services to prisoners and coordinating assessments regarding prisoners' capacity to participate in distance education.

To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating operational service delivery across multiple business units and program areas, including service performance monitoring and reporting.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the education environment.
- Demonstrated experience working within a correctional services environment.
