We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Helpdesk Officer to join the team for an initial 2-month contract and contribute to the to delivering expetional customer support. Job Overview: As a Contract Helpdesk Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient IT operations by providing technical support and assistance to the internal teams. You will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly. Key Responsibilities: Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and remote assistance. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner. Document, track, and monitor support requests to ensure timely resolution. Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues. Assist in the development and maintenance of knowledge base articles. Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and peripherals. Proficient in troubleshooting Windows and Mac operating systems. Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus.
