This is a Permanent Full Time or Fixed Term Full Time appointment until June 2026 with the possibility of extension(s), and/or permanency.
An appointee may progress to Clinical Psychologist Grade 2 upon successful completion of a Board approved supervised period of practice and gaining endorsement in Clinical Psychology with the Psychology Board of Australia.
Position Profile:
As part of the multidisciplinary team this position performs a clinical, education and research psychology service with individuals, families, groups, other professionals, and organisational systems within a multidisciplinary and professional team context, under the professional supervision of an approved clinical psychologist.
Directorate Overview:
The South West Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) has transformed into a new reimagined, Community Infant, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (ICAMHS) to provide local, consistent and integrated care across the region. Community ICAMHS has evolved into area-based networks comprising a central 'hub' to lead the provision of mental health supports and be a single point of entry for all children, families and carers. The hub will coordinate services across a small number of local clinics ('spokes') that will deliver care close to home.
South West ICAMHS actively works to provide comprehensive, integrated and quality mental health services to the region.
