Case Manager Role Description
As a Case Manager, you will provide comprehensive support to individuals and families impacted by domestic and family violence. Your role will involve delivering crisis intervention services, conducting thorough risk assessments, and collaborating with clients to develop personalized safety plans.
The ideal candidate for this position will possess a strong understanding of social work principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They should also be able to build trust with diverse client groups and maintain accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver holistic case management services, including crisis intervention and risk planning.
* Conduct thorough intake assessments using established frameworks.
* Develop and implement property safety upgrades in collaboration with clients.
* Maintain respectful relationships with clients and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
* Ensure accurate record-keeping and participate in after-hours on-call rosters.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in Community Services or a related field.
* Proven experience in culturally sensitive case work with women affected by domestic and family violence.
* Strong knowledge of domestic and family violence issues, including relevant legal and policy frameworks.
* Excellent relationship-building, communication, and interpersonal skills.
