Project Manager Opportunity in Water Utilities Infrastructure
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team in the Bowen Basin.
This role will be responsible for scoping and delivering water & sewage treatment plant upgrade projects through the whole project lifecycle from initiation through to closeout.
The successful candidate will focus on ensuring compliance to relevant engineering quality and change management systems while working closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the best outcome for the business.
* Develop project proposals and business cases in line with stakeholder requirements.
* Development of project scopes, budgets and schedules along with all aspects of project management from feasibility stage to sustainable operations phase.
* Problem solving and managing engineering designs and ensuring compliance to relevant Australian, industry standards.
* Engaging with key internal stakeholders within the engineering team and across sites and central departments including maintenance, operations, procurement, water planning, legal, environmental, etc.
* Engaging with external stakeholders including councils, Sunwater, landholders, and other Mining Companies in the development and execution of the water treatment infrastructure projects.
* Contractor onboarding and contract management.
* Supporting the construction supervisor during execution and in line with the site's Safety Health Management System (SHMS).
