Responsibilities
* Reduce avoidable hospital admissions through early intervention and comprehensive care
* Prescribe medications and provide specialist referrals as part of holistic, resident‑focused treatment plans
* Support wellness initiatives, including monitoring residents on wellness programs and following up in partnership with GPs
* Lead clinical research by collecting, analysing, and interpreting wellbeing program data
* Contribute to policy development and shape best‑practice care models within the aged care sector
What skills will you bring?
* At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within health or aged care
* Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team
* A proven track record of leading and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
* Strength in relationship‑building, focusing on delivering exceptional outcomes for residents, families and key stakeholders
* A sound understanding of the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) and its application in aged care settings
* Familiarity with Department of Health regulations related to residential aged care services
* Current AHPRA registration in good standing
* Previous experience in aged care – highly desirable but not essential if you bring a passion for aged care and transferable leadership experience
