What this opportunity involves:
Based in Canberra, you’ll be working on site with our client – one of the largest globally recognised tech brands!
The Workplace Coordinator Site Lead in Canberra is the primary on-site contact for our client, managing day-to-day facilities operations, vendor relationships, financial processes, and project delivery. This autonomous role requires strong stakeholder management, operational oversight, and a commitment to health and safety excellence.
Snapshot of the role:
Act as single point of contact for client stakeholders, managing daily operations and service delivery
Build strong client relationships and deliver services meeting contract KPIs through regular engagement
Manage vendor performance, procurement, and compliance within budget
Oversee purchase orders, invoice processing, and budget tracking
Lead IFM projects from planning through completion before Place in Service dates
Conduct site inspections, coordinate maintenance, and manage reactive works
Maintain health and safety compliance and operational documentation
Provide 24/7 emergency support and work autonomously using mobile technology

The Workplace Coordinator will bring practical knowledge of building services and maintenance, combined with strong Microsoft Office proficiency and exceptional communication skills. As a natural multitasker with keen attention to detail, you'll be goal-oriented and driven to deliver continuous improvement across all aspects of the role.
Formal tertiary qualifications OR experience in one or more of the following: Management, Business, Operations/Project Management, Building / Facilities Management, or related discipline.
Client-focused with passion for service excellence and exceeding customer expectations
Strong communicator – Good presentation skills and possesses strong verbal & written communication skills, also an active listener.
