We are seeking dedicated Production Operators to join our Charters Towers, QLD team. This role operates on a 4:3 roster and offers ongoing training and career advancement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing and packaging explosives, including batching, assembly, coiling, and distribution
* Maintaining plant and equipment to ensure operational efficiency
* Undertaking ongoing training to enhance skills and expertise
* Conducting stock control, inventory checks, and monitoring deliveries
* Operating forklifts (valid high-risk ticket preferred but not essential)
* Performing general maintenance and cleaning of equipment, vehicles, and forklifts
* Engaging in manual handling tasks and maintaining a clean workspace
* Working collaboratively as part of a team to meet operational deadlines
Requirements:
* Ability to pass a fitness assessment, drug and alcohol screening
* National Police Clearance (current, within six months)
* Reliable transport to and from the site
* Flexible approach to work hours based on operational needs
* Willingness to undertake various duties as required
* Maintenance experience is highly valued
* Successful applicants will undergo a pre-employment medical and must provide a current police clearance.
