We are seeking a Commercial Coordinator to support commercial and trade compliance activities across the Mawson Lakes Facility. This role ensures business activities are delivered in line with Australian and international trade compliance requirements, including US export controls (ITAR and EAR), while supporting bids, programs and business development activities. Key Responsibilities Support and coordinate trade compliance activities across bids, programs, business development, and marketing activities to ensure compliance requirements are embedded throughout the lifecycle of work. Assist in identifying import/export compliance obligations early in program and bid phases and support the development of practical compliance approaches. Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure trade compliance requirements are clearly understood, communicated and integrated into commercial and operational processes. Provide coordination support on Australian and US export control requirements, including ITAR and EAR, ensuring consistent application across activities. Maintain accurate, complete, and auditable trade compliance records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Support incident reporting, compliance investigations and voluntary disclosure activities, including preparation of supporting documentation where required. Assist with preparation for regulatory and internal audits, ensuring relevant records and evidence are readily available. Support the delivery of trade compliance training and awareness activities across cross-functional teams. Monitor regulatory updates and assist in communicating relevant changes and emerging risks to stakeholders. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness of trade compliance processes. Prepare reports, summaries, and documentation to support internal governance and decision-making. What you will bring: You are a proactive and detail-focused professional who enjoys working across commercial, regulatory and operational environments. Essential Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance, Law or a related discipline. Strong ability to interpret regulatory and commercial requirements and apply practical solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly summarise findings and recommendations. Desirable Completion of trade compliance training or related professional development. Exposure to trade compliance frameworks across Australia, the USA, and/or EU jurisdictions. Experience working in a commercially focused or project-based environment. Strong stakeholder coordination and influencing skills. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and culturally diverse teams. Mandatory Requirements: Must be able to access information controlled under the US International Traffic of Arms Regulations (ITAR) Must be able to obtain and maintain an Australian security clearance.
