Occupational Therapist Role
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team as a Rehabilitation Consultant. As an essential member of our allied health professionals, you will play a vital role in helping clients regain their independence and achieve their goals.
Job Description:
In this exciting opportunity, you will undertake assessments relevant to your discipline to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans. You will design and implement intervention programs using occupation to improve functional performance, independence, and work capacity.
You will identify barriers and design, implement, and monitor programs that support people to achieve maximal work participation. Your understanding of various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes will empower your clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals.
Liaising with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders is crucial to achieving successful outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist;
* The willingness to learn and positively impact people's lives;
* The ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey;
* A commitment to a high level of customer service to your clients and customers;
* The willingness to work in the community (must have a driver's licence and access to own vehicle);
* Current or able to obtain a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.
