12-months casual contract
Working on Sustaining Capital projects, various clients
* Tertiary qualified engineer with at least 8 years' professional experience in Control Systems Engineering
* Extensive experience working with mining and minerals processing.
* Demonstrate competency of ensuring all Control System engineering project work complies with statutory and regulatory requirements and company policies and practices.
* Competency with PLC platforms – Schneider PLC's
* Competency with SCADA HMI platforms – Citect SCADA
* Familiar and competency with process control communications protocols – Ethernet IP, DNP3, Modbus, OPC, Profinet.
* Can read and interpret electrical drawings and documentation, test and validation documentation, commissioning documentation and change management documentation.
* Competent with PLC software development such as ladder logic and FBD.
* Competency with drive interface design including VSD, E/DOL and Soft Starter
* Provide high level technical support for Control System engineers as required.
* Ability to work as a team player with peers and other discipline engineers and draftspersons to ensure Control System project goals are met.
* MUST have full working rights in Australia
