The Role: The Dining Room Supervisor is responsible for assisting management in the organisation’s continuing effort to deliver an outstanding service experience for our residents. In this key leadership role, you will take ownership of a broad range of tasks and responsibilities ranging from daily food and beverage service, maintenance and presentation of our dining rooms and support and coordination of events. In addition, you will be responsible for: Assist in training and supporting front of house dining personnel in all aspects of food and beverage service. Motivation and leadership of your team. Maintaining correct food handling and hygiene work practices including compliance with HACCP food service standards. Promoting the Jewish culture. Qualifications and experience: Previous experience in a similar supervisory role At least 2 years restaurant/banquet experience in Australia Relevant qualifications in hospitality is preferred Key role requirements: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills A true passion for customer service Excellent team supervision ability Immaculate grooming and personal presentation Desirable: Previous experience in an aged care environment including exposure to working with special dietary requirements About us: Montefiore is an award-winning, Sydney-based aged care provider, with a proud 135-year history as a non-profit organisation founded on Jewish values.
