Job Description:
The role of Senior Solicitor will involve providing civil legal advice and advocacy to First Nations clients through holistic lawyering and outreach. You will be responsible for supervising junior staff members and engaging meaningfully with remote communities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality legal advice and representation to First Nations clients
* Supervise and mentor junior staff members to ensure their professional development
* Build strong relationships with remote communities to understand their needs and provide targeted support
Requirements:
* A strong commitment to social justice and human rights
* A minimum of 2 years' experience as a practising solicitor
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
