Join our team as an Occupational Therapist working with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families in a supportive environment. Work independently managing clinical caseloads while maintaining high standards of clinical reasoning and financial management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess and treat children and adolescents with various needs
* Design individualised therapy intervention plans and conduct hands-on sessions
* Communicate with external stakeholders including healthcare professionals involved in client care
* Manage bookings, time, and treatment plans for clinic-based and off-site interventions
* Ensure efforts meet billable targets and client work priorities for business sustainability
* Work collaboratively with the Director to create programs and resources
* Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately, confidentially, and maintained at all times
* Provide supervision of students, therapy assistants, and support workers
Requirements:
* Occupational therapy qualification
* AHPRA registration
* Current Drivers Licence
* 2 years experience in paediatric occupational therapy services or genuine passion and desire to develop paediatric skills
* Ability to independently problem-solve, analyse client needs, and provide therapy sessions
* Passionate about helping people overcome challenges
Benefits:
* Permanent Full-time position (38 hours per week)
* $80,000 - $105,000 per annum depending on experience
* Located on picturesque Atherton Tablelands in Far North Queensland
