PositionProfile:
The objective of the BreastCare Nurse position, funded by the McGrath Foundation under theBreast Cancer Nurses Initiative is to improve the quality andcontinuity of care and support provided to clients diagnosed withbreast cancer across the continuum of care.
To be successful, youwill have...
Act as a Breast Cancerresource person for staff and patients and their significant othersthroughout the region.
- Provides clinical breastcancer nursing knowledge and case management within the WACHSregion.
- Demonstrates leadership androle modelling.
- Promotes maintenance ofclinical standard setting and monitoring, policy development andchange management as required to improve the breast cancerpatient's management.
