About the Role:
North Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is recruiting an Occupational Therapist to join the Northern Community Mental Health team. This full‐time, short‐term contract position runs until 25 May 2027 and provides the opportunity to deliver exceptional mental health care across Adelaide's northern communities. Based at the NALHN MHS Salisbury Adult Service unit, you will work with a dedicated multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive mental health services to adults in our community.
What You'll Do:
* Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for adults with mental health conditions
* Develop and implement individualised treatment plans, including NDIS supports
* Provide group and individual therapy sessions in community settings
* Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, nurses, and other allied health professionals
* Support clients in developing daily living skills and community participation
To be eligible for this position you must have an Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
