About the Role
The Airport Manager will oversee team and fleet requirements to achieve operational goals. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual who undertakes all operational duties involved with the successful running of the location.
* Effectively manage vehicle fleet levels and employee rostering to meet customer demands.
* Print, action, and monitor reports/financial plans and contribute to the annual business plan for the location.
* Continually compare location performance against the strategic plan and implement necessary measures to ensure targets are achieved.
* Monitor customer service delivery and identify strategies to increase customer satisfaction.
* Create and facilitate a team environment.
* Ensure effective performance management practices are applied at the location.
* Identify and continually monitor employee needs and implement actions to increase employee satisfaction and manage performance as needed.
* Contribute to the development of the annual business plan.
* Proactively seek solutions to problems identified.
* Monitor compliance with policies.
* Other duties may be required from time to time.
* Ensure Quality Assurance standards are achieved or exceeded.
Key Skills & Qualifications
* Previous experience leading a team in a similar role and/or environment (car rental industry experience being advantageous).
* The ability to provide coaching and feedback to employees.
* The ability to use initiative and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Conflict resolution skills.
* Excellent computer proficiency especially with MS Office.
* The ability to maximise team performance.
* Knowledge of relevant industrial relations legislation.
