Position Overview
This position offers an exciting opportunity for occupational therapists interested in working within a Community Mental Health Team, particularly those passionate about working with older adults and their families.
The working hours are from 8:30am to 5:00pm.
The Bathurst Older People's Mental Health Service (OPMHS) team includes clinicians from nursing, social work, psychology, OT, and psychiatry, supported by dietetics and other allied health disciplines to provide therapy and care planning aimed at improving mental wellbeing among older adults.
The team values collaboration and maintains an excellent workplace culture of support and flexibility, ensuring high-quality clinical care.
The successful candidate will work closely with the team leader, clinical leader, and the wider team, with links to a clinical supervisor and professional mentor.
Participants will undergo comprehensive clinical and operational orientation, including the development of a personalized professional development pathway focused on core skills and individual interests in OPMH.
