Job Title

We are seeking an administrative professional to join our team.

In this pivotal role, you will deliver high-quality administrative and patient support, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for patients, visitors, and clinicians.


About the Role

* Welcome patients and visitors, and manage reception, phone, and email enquiries.
* Confirm health fund coverage and prepare self-funding quotes.
* Coordinate patient admissions, including ambulance check-ins.
* Process payments, including cash handling and EFTPOS transactions.
* Complete accurate data entry to maintain up-to-date patient records.
* Provide administrative support to clinical and non-clinical teams.


About You

You will bring professionalism, empathy, and strong administrative capabilities, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

* Previous experience in hospital, medical reception, or health fund administration is desirable.
* Knowledge of Meditech and/or Gentu systems is highly desirable.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with accurate data entry and keyboard skills, is required.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational ability is essential.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both in person and over the phone, are necessary.
* The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a supportive team is required.
* Experience in health fund billing is highly desirable.
