Home Base is expanding, and we're looking for a passionate Step Up Facilitator to join our Launceston team. As demand for our services continues to grow, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team supporting young Tasmanians to feel safe, valued and hopeful about their future.
About the Role
Part Time | 0.9FTE
In this role, you will work directly with young people aged 11-17 and their families through the Step Up program, which supports young people who are using violence in the home.
* Deliver the Step Up program with young people and families
* Provide case management and therapeutic support
* Help young people build respectful communication and conflict resolution skills
* Work collaboratively with schools, services and community partners
* This is a relationship-based role, giving you the opportunity to build trust with young people and support meaningful change.

About You
You care deeply about young people and believe in their capacity for change.
You will bring:
* Experience supporting young people and/or families through therapeutic or case management work
* Understanding of trauma-informed and strengths-based practice
* Skills in conflict resolution, counselling or mediation
* Knowledge of the challenges facing young Tasmanians and the community services sector
