As a Retail Security Officer, you'll be the face of safety on‐site—helping protect customers, staff, and assets in busy retail environments. Your visible presence and quick response will help prevent incidents, reduce risk, and create a safe and welcoming space for everyone.
About The Role
This is a fast‐paced, customer‐facing role where no two shifts are the same. You'll be working across retail sites providing a strong security presence, monitoring activity, and responding to incidents as they arise. You'll combine strong situational awareness with great customer service—supporting both safety and a positive in‐store experience.

Contract type: Casual
Pay rate: SSIA Level 4
Shift pattern: Ability to work rotating day and night shifts of 12 hours.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct routine patrols and security checks.
* Maintain a visible security presence to deter theft and anti‐social behaviour.
* Monitor CCTV and on‐site activity, identifying and responding to risks.
* Respond to incidents and de‐escalate conflicts professionally and safely.
* Provide excellent customer service while supporting store operations and safety.
About You
* Must have Security Licence, Classification 1A (Unarmed Guarding).
* Valid First Aid Certificate (3‐year validity) and current CPR Certificate (1‐year validity).
* Ability to clear an Australian Police Check.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to remain calm and professional in busy retail environments.
* Good observation skills and confidence to manage and de‐escalate incidents.
