Role Overview
Complex Manager – Burnie, Tasmania, Bunnings Warehouse (Full time)
As Complex Manager you will oversee daily operations, sales and high‐volume stock management within the store, ensuring efficient, organized service for customers and internal sales teams. You will report directly to the Regional Manager and work with a team of over 120 staff, including Operations Managers, Department Managers, Supervisors, Team Members and Forklift Drivers. Your leadership will support the broader community and trade centres, driving the future success of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead a high‐performing leadership team, building capability through coaching, clear alignment and constructive performance conversations.
* Build a culture of recognition, accountability and development that drives engagement and retention.
* Take a proactive approach to safety and wellbeing, supporting injury management and maintaining compliance.
* Hold full accountability for warehouse EBIT performance – including sales growth, margin optimisation, wage control and cost management.
* Identify commercial opportunities and implement actions to drive sales and growth.
* Lead strong stock loss performance: reduce shrink, deliver accurate stocktakes and ensure inventory integrity.
* Engage the local community and identify opportunities for community events and projects.
* Work a minimum of 1 in 3 weekend rosters; public holiday work is required.
Qualifications & Experience
* Strong track record leading large, diverse teams (100+) in fast‐paced operations.
* Previous experience leading teams in retail or a large, high‐volume customer‐focused organisation.
* Proven ability to build and lead high‐performing leadership teams through coaching and accountability.
* Strong commitment to creating a safe and secure warehouse, including compliance, injury management and safety engagement.
* Demonstrated ability to own business EBIT, delivering sales growth, margin and cost control.
* Ability to identify and act on opportunities that drive sales and business growth.
* Strong capability in reducing shrink, delivering accurate stocktakes and maintaining inventory integrity.
