Our Café Staff members hold a vital role in the daily functioning of our small family business, focusing on tending to customer requirements, preparing food and beverages, upholding impeccable cleanliness standards, and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all customers. We prioritise our customers' first impressions, so we seek individuals who are not only friendly, well-groomed and efficient but also possess strong english language skills and exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
* Minimum 1 - 2 years Barista experience, making the perfect latte every time!
* Minimum 1 - 2 years Customer Service experience, always delivering an exceptional experience.
* Must have ongoing availability: Monday afternoons until 5:30pm and Thursday afternoons until 5:30pm. Please note: only applications submitted with availability on the above days/times will be considered.
* Are passionate and have a love for providing exceptional customer service.
* Baking and food preparation experience is a bonus.
* Exceptional attention to detail, proactive problem-solving abilities, and strong time management skills.
* Comfort in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multitask and take a hands-on approach.
* Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Craft high-quality coffee and prepare other beverages, including milkshakes and smoothies.
* Bake and prepare a wide variety of toasties, slices, cookies and truffles.
* Greet customers, take orders and process payments.
* Building rapport with customers by recognising their preferences to provide a personalised experience.

* The role is casual with an exciting opportunity to secure permanent employment for the right candidate.
* This attractive position will include on the job training with the legends at Gigante Coffee.
