One of Australia's leading Federal Government agencies is looking to engage a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director to fulfil the role of the Agency’s security advisor, and deliver the property services function across the organisation. Flexible working arrangements are available. The successful Assistant Director will be offered a 12-month contract with the view to be extended!
The successfulAssistant Director will be responsible for, but not limited to:
* Oversee the management of the Agency’s Protective Security function - security clearances, pre-employment screening, security advice, security awareness training, undertake security audits and assurance
* Oversee the Agency’s property facilities management, projects and performance to align with government best practice and compliance
* Assist the management of day to day support services functions
* Coordinate and advise the Security Governance Committee, reporting on the Agency’s security maturity
The successful Assistant Director will have experience in the following:
* Ability to respond in a positive and flexible manner to deliver outcomes while operating in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
* The application of the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), particularly in the areas of Government Security, Security Risk Management, Security Investigation
* The application of the Commonwealth Resource Management Framework (CRMF), particularly in the areas of Property and Facilities Management
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
