About the Role
The Metropolitan South Region is seeking qualified professionals to support students, families and school communities in delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
This role involves working directly with children to build their social and emotional skills while providing responsive support to those experiencing urgent needs.
Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering tailored therapeutic interventions to support students' mild to moderate concerns
* Providing support and ensuring safety plans for students who are self-harming or at risk of suicide
* Identifying when students require additional mental health support outside of the school context
* Supporting students following a critical incident or emergency

About the Position
The ideal candidate will have professional knowledge of psychological interventions and be able to provide support and guidance to students, families and school staff.
Applicants should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
