The CTP Claims Consultant is responsible for independently managing a portfolio of complex injury and litigated compulsory third party (CTP) claims, with a strong focus on common law matters. The role provides autonomous decision‐making on claim strategy, liability, and resolution within delegated authority. It requires analysing evidence, interpreting legislation and guidelines, and engaging effectively with legal providers, regulators and rehabilitation specialists to achieve fair, timely and financially responsible outcomes. This role supports injured individuals in their recovery, ensures compliance with statutory requirements, and delivers empathetic, customer‐centric service.
This is a permanent full‐time role based in Meanjin (Brisbane) or Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney).
What You'll Do
* Independently manage a portfolio of high‐complexity, litigated and injury‐related CTP claims, including common law matters.
* Make strategic, autonomous and final decisions on claim outcomes within your delegated authority.
* Interpret legislation, guidelines and evidence to enable effective, defensible and customer‐focused case management.
* Communicate clearly with stakeholders – customers, legal providers, regulators and specialists – to progress claims efficiently.
* Maintain accurate claim documentation to ensure full compliance with statutory, customer and internal requirements.
* Support injured people in their recovery by applying best‐practice rehabilitation and return‐to‐work principles.
What You'll Bring
* Experience managing complex CTP claims, with exposure to common law matters highly desirable.
* Strong end‐to‐end claims management capability, including assessment, strategy setting and decision‐making.
* Proven ability to deliver empathetic, solution‐focused customer service in challenging or sensitive situations.
* Skilled in interpreting legislation, guidelines and evidence to support fair and defensible claim outcomes.
* Highly effective communication skills, enabling strong relationships with customers, legal providers and stakeholders.
