MSJ Plumbing Group is a family owned and operated business, who have played an integral part in Canberra's plumbing industry for over 30 years. Our company aims to provide a professional and expert experience for all of our clients

What we're looking for?

Due to continued growth a new opportunity is available within the company and we're on the lookout for an office manager with initiative, ambition, proven skills, and passion for what they do with a great work ethic.

Tasks & responsibilities

* General reception duties including answering calls, emails and being the first point of contact
* Drafting invoices in Xero software and reconciling payments
* Scheduling appointments with clients both government and non government
* Creating jobs, drafting tender documents, creating purchase orders & preparing SWMS
* Manage the office electonic filing (Project Correspondence, Proposals, Estimating, etc)
* Collate reports and other documentation including typing and formatting documents for insurance companies
* Type accurately, prepare and maintain documents and records
* Managing the workflow through the inbox with respect to importance and deadlines
* Making appointments with clients, planning work schedules & allocating resources

Skills and experience

The right candidate will possess the following qualities:

* Ability to learn quickly
* Outgoing and friendly personality
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with a clear phone manner
* Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
* Professional presentation and appearance
* Sound knowledge of MS Office
* Valid drivers' licence
* Experience in Xero preferred but not essential
* Experience in construction & plumbing will be highly regarded
