Job Summary: Our organisation requires experienced Cattle Transporters to facilitate the transportation of cattle between feedlots, saleyards, paddocks and abattoirs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Transporting livestock in accordance with the NSW Livestock Loading Scheme and Animal Welfare Guidelines.
* Maintaining the efficient operation of vehicles and associated equipment.
* Completing daily pre-start checks on vehicles before operating.
* Ensuring compliance with Road Transport Requirements, COR and NHVR.
* Operating under Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) regulations.
* Ensuring compliance with OH&S and Environmental Regulations.
* Complying with Road Transport Laws and Regulations.
* Adhering to Workplace Health and Safety Standards.
About You: To be successful in this role, you will need a Current Multi-Combination (MC) Driver's Licence, previous experience as an MC driver, previous experience transporting livestock or livestock handling experience, a good Traffic History Report, hold a Basic Fatigue Management Certification or be willing to obtain it, a strong work ethic, physical ability to ascend/descend ladders and stairs as well as undertake manual labour, knowledge of locations advantageous, ability to work across a 7-day period including weekends.
