The Role
Given a recent change in ownership and direction, this business is on the lookout for a new Payroll Team Leader to take ownership of payroll for the business across Victoria.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading a team of 2 x Senior Payroll Officers
* Interpretation of multiple awards/EBA's
* Provide back up and support to the National Payroll Manager
* Involvement with union members
* Ensuring all deadlines are met within the payroll team
* Handling complex payroll queries
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Hands-on experience in an end-to-end payroll processing role with previous team management exposure
* Experience interpreting varying EBA's/Awards
* Strong numerical skills
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused mindset that is adept to dealing with difficult personalities at times
* Previous experience processing payroll within a unionised payroll environment advantageous but not essential
