Popcultcha are an Australian-owned and operated, family business that has been retailing collectables for 30+ years and counting. With origins dating back to the trading card boom in the 1990's, the Popcultcha catalogue has expanded over the decades to include curated collections of Action Figures, Statues, Vinyl Records, Comic Books, Designer Toys, Art Prints, Vinyl Figures, Life-Size Replicas, Board Games and much more! All of this is housed in our Geelong, Victoria facility where we ship orders to all corners of the globe. While our online presence has been active since 2009, our brick and mortar Geelong stores have always been a pillar of the local community. We currently operate 3 unique retail locations in Geelong, our Flagship store in Ryrie St, our Collector Gallery at the Federal Mills, and our most recent addition, Popcultcha Records.
Servicing the collectables industry requires a deep focus on great customer outcomes, ensuring the items we sell are treated with utmost care to ensure they arrive in collectable condition. Housing a product catalogue in the tens of thousands, our HQ / Warehouse is a fun and diverse workplace where no two days are ever the same. We constantly achieve a high standard of work, with every department working together with customer experience as our sole priority.
The Roles:
We are currently looking to fill several administrative positions at our Headquarters supporting our Retail, Inventory and Purchasing teams with backend operations and administrative workloads. These newly created positions will see you working closely with management, suppliers, our warehouse and retail locations to streamline existing operations and assist with growth in 2026 and beyond. While the role is Geelong based, you will have opportunities to hit the road and represent the brand at our Supanova Expo and Oz Comic Con events.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensuring data entry information is accurate, up to date & maintained across our website and retail operating systems
* Tracking backorders and incoming shipments
* Monitoring stock levels
* Assisting the warehouse with inventory management and receipt of goods
* Managing product clearance cycles
* Managing transfers and inventory levels at our retail locations
* Assisting our product and marketing teams with product releases
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking motivated individuals who are energetic and customer focused, who take pride in their day-to-day work in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to work well within a team, have a high level of verbal and written communication, manage competing priorities and have strong attention to detail.
While not a requirement, previous experience in retail or administration, as well as an understanding of Microsoft Suite & Google Workspace will be beneficial.
Successful applicants must be available to work Mon – Fri, onsite at our HQ.
