Dr. Paul Pusey and Associates has a large and consistent number of referrals which cannot be met with the current team. We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist to start as soon as possible. There is one 2 day per week part time position which are available to cover Mondays and Tuesdays.
The successful applicant will be supported to provide high quality Clinical Psychological assessment and intervention as part of the Dr. Paul Pusey and Associates Team.
Therapy and Assessment Resources including access to Psychometric Tests will be provided as part of the conditions of employment.
The opportunity to engage in group supervision with the other members of the clinical team will also be provided to the successful applicant. Collaboration and the sharing of clinical knowledges amongst the team is a core value which we aim to promote at this practice.

To be successful in this role, it is expected that the successful candidate(s) will possess the following attributes:

Position Requirements/Qualifications:
* Postgraduate Psychology Qualification – Masters/Doctoral Degree in Clinical or Forensic Psychology
* Registration or eligibility for General registration with Psychology Board of Australia under AHPRA
* Eligibility to obtain a Medicare Provider Number
* Clinical Psychology Endorsement with AHPRA/Psychology Board of Australia
* Willingness to provide treatment to at least 6 clients per working day
* Training and demonstrated competence in at least one of the following treatment modalities: EMDR, Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in addition to demonstrated competence in CBT
Salary: The successful candidate will commence on Clinical Psychologist Year 2 from the NSW Public Sector award pro rated to 0.4 FTE
