We are seeking a meticulous Business Analyst (Finance) to support critical change and transformation period for our client within the financial services industry. This temporary role is based in Melbourne and focuses on delivering key insights to enhance accounting and finance operations.
The role will commence immediately and be for 3-months.

Description
The Finance Business Analyst will be responsible for:
* Develop process maps
* Assist in re-developing & re-engineering procure-to-pay process
* Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to streamline financial processes.
* Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders.
* Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within financial operations.
* Support budgeting and forecasting activities across departments.
* Assist in developing chart of accounts in the organisation's new ERP
* Assist in the implementation of financial systems and tools as required.
Profile
A successful Finance Business Analyst should have:
* A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
* Exposure with Procure to Pay
* Strong systems and excel skills (ability to deal with large data sets)
* Strong proficiency in financial modelling and reporting tools.
* Ability to interpret complex financial data and present actionable insights.
* Extremely strong communication skills and business partnering abilities
* Familiarity with compliance standards and regulations in Melbourne.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders effectively.
