About the role

Due to continued growth and increasing operational demand, Contract Resources (CR) is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Specialist to support the maintenance of plant, equipment, inventory, and maintenance systems at our Karratha Facility.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring our assets, warehouse operations, and supporting processes meet operational, safety, regulatory, and commercial requirements. You will work closely with internal and key external stakeholders to maintain high standards across asset integrity, inventory control, compliance, and reporting.

To be successful in this role, you will bring strong administrative and reporting capability, demonstrate solid leadership experience, and carry out day-to-day operational requirements with a safety-first mindset at all times.

Duties will include but not limited to

* Maintain core CR equipment and machinery, including High Pressure Water (HPW) Pumps, Vacuum Trucks/Skids, and Pneumatic operated equipment.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant HSEQ procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements.
* Identify, flag, and report areas of non-compliance in line with company procedures.
* Participate in safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
* Prepare and where required, present monthly reports and plans.
* Ensure maintenance work packs are completed to a high standard.
* Maintain effective communication with HSE, Operations, Finance, Line Managers, and HR.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support operational outcomes.
* Provide maintenance updates during toolbox talks and team meetings.
* Create, update, and manage records for all CR plant, vehicles, and equipment.
* Liaise with technicians, contractors, and OEM representatives to resolve complex mechanical or hydraulic issues.
* Ensure all items are stored in designated and allocated locations.
* Ensure stock items are fit for service, noting third-party inspection requirements where applicable.
* Ensure all equipment leaving the facility is documented and correctly labelled.
* Source parts and materials in a cost-effective and commercially sound manner.

Requirements & Experience Needed

* 2+ years of experience in a similar role with responsibility for maintaining company-wide asset records.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
* Proven facility management and leadership experience
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills
* Experience managing databases and asset management systems
* Strong time management and prioritisation skills
* Demonstrated experience managing warehouse processes and systems
* Strong administrative background with demonstrated leadership capability and task ownership
