The Role As Centre Director, you will be the founding leader of a medium size early learning centre, responsible for bringing the vision of the service to life. This is an opportunity to shape the centre’s identity, culture, and educational excellence from the ground up. Your strategic and hands-on leadership will include: Team leadership and development: Recruit, onboard, and inspire the inaugural team of educators and support staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, professional growth, and excellence. Operational establishment: Lead all pre-opening preparations to ensure the centre meets licensing, compliance, and regulatory standards, while implementing efficient operational systems and processes. Pedagogical and cultural direction: Define the centre’s educational philosophy, routines, and learning environment, creating a nurturing, inclusive, and innovative space where children can thrive. Community and stakeholder engagement: Build authentic, lasting relationships with families, the local school community, and key stakeholders, positioning the centre as a trusted, integral part of the community. You will work alongside an Assistant Director/Educational Leader and on-site administration, supported by a comprehensive network of shared services across HR, finance, marketing, and operations, enabling you to focus on leadership, innovation, and the highest standards of early childhood education.
