Job Title: Healthcare Professional - Aged Care Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in delivering high-quality nursing care to our residents. As an Aged Care Specialist, you will be responsible for leading and supervising support provision for daily living, assessing resident's condition and functional ability, and ensuring risks are identified and managed.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and promote social and physical engagement in all resident interactions
* Assess resident's condition and functional ability and ensure risks are identified, managed and evaluated
* Ensure optimal use of medications, monitoring for adversity and administering in a timely and safe manner
* Provide leadership, direction, support, mentoring and coaching to staff on each shift
* Ensure clear and succinct handover from shift to shift and relevant documentation is completed
About You
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional care and have the skills and experience to excel in this role. The successful candidate will possess:
* Bachelor of Nursing with current registration as an RN
* Current First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate
* Previous experience working in an aged care environment
* Exceptional communication skills and ability to read and write clearly
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to balance supporting resident's independence with potential risks
