A leading multinational company based in Sydney, Australia is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Financial Accountant / Admin Manager to join their team. This crucial role involves overseeing both financial operations and key administrative functions, ensuring compliance and efficient business processes.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee comprehensive financial management, month end close and reporting back to headquarters..Manage tax filings, statutory audits, and effectively liaise with external advisors and government agencies.Support external audits and meticulously manage all audit documentation.Maintain accurate and timely general ledger records.Ensure strict compliance with Australian accounting standards, tax law, and corporate policies.Manage administrative operations such as procurement, IT coordination, and general office oversight.Carry out any additional accounting-related duties as directed by the Managing Director.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting or corporate finance.Strong understanding of Australian accounting and tax regulations.Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.CPA or CA qualification (or working toward it) is preferred.Experience in a multinational company environment is an advantage.
